Hi guys and girls! Just a quick bit about me and my racing. I have grown up with bikes and had my first bike, a Yamaha PW50 when I was five years old. Since first going to watch my step dad, Eddy Wright race when I was 5 or 6 I have been hooked on sidecar racing and had my heart set on being a passenger.
I first passengered on my 16 birthday for big brother Dougie Wright at Donington Park on a formula 2 outfit. For the rest of the 2008 season I passengered Nigel Mayers on a F2. 2009, saw a new challenge for me, classic racing. Ed had had passenger trouble for most of the 2008 and decided it was time for me to step up to the mark and I have to say it was an honour to be asked. I carried on racing the F2 with Nige as well as classic racing and had some very respectable top 5 finishes in club races with Nige. 2009 also saw me compete in my first road race in Belgium with Ed on the classic and then two months later I had my first outing at Scarborough. The start of the 2010 season saw a completely new challenge for me…. British Formula 2 championship with Nigel. We competed at Thruxton for our first Brit F2 meeting but called it a day as a team after that due to my classic racing committments.
